Chronicon - seems like an OK Diablo clone that is more top down and very crude graphics.

Got that awhile back.  Has a lot of stuff already, and much potential, for what it cost. 

I'll probably end up playing it with a controller and steamlink on the big tv after it's official release.

Yeah I wasn't trying to imply it's bad, that said game play wise it brings quite a bit to the table. It just looks 20 yrs old

That's OK.  Most of us are getting old enough that, with our bad eye sight, we can't tell the difference anyways!   ;D

I have no idea why, but I'm simply in a wargaming funk.  The last few titles I've picked up (Stellaris, HoI4, etc.) were greatly anticipated by me, but after an hour or two of playing them, I'm just feeling meh.  I was given a "pick your own game" present for Christmas, and nothing I'm seeing gets me more than vaguely aroused.

That 8-bit pixel style the retro lovers seem to gravitate to in indie games these days.  Probably less workload for the indie devs doing this stuff in their spare time.

It didn't bother me too much in this one.  Doesn't look like anime so I'm okay with it.

I got Astroneer (not much fun), the Muddy trucks B revision for what used to be Spintires (interesting) and the Mirage 2000C for DCS.  Seems to work well once you turn the radar thing on.
