Decades Feeder Bracket - 1999 Final 8

Well it looks like I again have no idea what I am doing. The 1 and 2 seeds are both gone. And I agonized about even including Californication. I have three other RHCP songs I could have used, but, picked that one as the one most would be familiar with. Slide was my 2 based on how well they did in the '98 Bracket. That'll teach me :(

Interested to see how things turn out here. Still have a good mix of what made '99, '99. So, have at!

I'm glad Aguilera kicked Britney out of this bracket. She's a better singer imo :)

Yeah, but the Britney video is super iconic. AND shot in one of the hallways of the school used in the movie, 'Grease.'

I have nothing against the Britney video. And I know that was an iconic moment in pop culture, and a breakthrough song for her, that rocketed her into super stardom. And, I actually like the song. But it was up against Christina Aguilera, who I think just has a much better vocal range than Britney.

And I didn't know it was the same school from Grease! That's a cool bit of pop trivia to know, thanks dude O0

Aguilera has way more singing skills that Spears... like infinitely more skills... Spears is a hack comparatively.

I don't like either of their styles but you have to recognize skill when you see it.

How can you say that ? I don't think anybody has ever heard Spears sing live so how can they judge her skills ..
