Happy Super Bowl weekend!  The dust up between the Philadelphia Eagles and the New England Patriots kicks off Sunday night.  It's almost a national holiday here in the States.  We'll have lots of victuals and libations, friends and family for the game.

The game I will be playing is Medieval 2 Total War as...well, I don't know who.  Lost to the Holy Roman Empire last time.  May play Hungary this time.  I've been playing Warlock mp and will probably have some time on that, too.

I'll be playing - not alot - the best rugby tournament outside of the Rugby World Cup is starting (6 Nations in case you don't know)

When I do get to play, it'll be my new, updated, beautiful, unified DCS and more AV8B Harrier love - in the Caucasus or Nevada - I don't know.

Enjoy the Bowl for people watching that, enjoy the rugby for people watching that and most of all, enjoy your gaming time.

Finally we got going on our PBEM Genesis board game. Should be interesting.

Not sure what else to ok=play on the PC... might do some more in Cities Skylines... had it for a while and just started to play with it.

On the table is Next War: Poland as I try to grok the rules. Game looks awesome but the rules look daunting....

Maybe get in some driving with DiRT Rally with my new wheel and pedals setup.

Lots of prep work for our up coming annual Winter Guys Weekend of Gaming at the end of the month. Going to run a refereed game of AH's Bismarck, 2 teams of 2 with me as ref, with the advanced combat system.

A very, very last minuite notice came down yesterday so it looks like I'll be out of town all next week.  So, to celebrate, I'll shoot more people in The Division and haul my old laptop out to see if it still works - the Girl is using my replacement until her screen is fixed on the laptop she was using.  If that one is still kicking, then at least I'll be able to play all the Matrix-bought games I've got on there to pass the time.

Think I'll just haul off and get a dedicated gaming laptop one of these days and be done with it.

You're really playing this one to death. I had put a few hours into it before deleting to free up space for Ghost Recon Wildlands...this was many patches and updates ago...perhaps its worth revisiting?

I used to love the Super Bowl. LOVE. Now I couldn't yawn more or care less about it. The only thing intriguing is the Eagles are in it, though I doubt they're going to win.

For me it'll be the Puppy Bowl, hopefully some gaming, but most likely the usual getting-drug-around-for-eight-hours-on-pointless-BS as it is every weekend.

Continue looking at Space Empires 5 (and maybe 4). Not really playing so much but checking out everything that you can mod and map creation. Haven't found out if you can pre-set fleets or not.
Not sure what else. Maybe a board game.

I know.  Don't think I've played anything this long or with this much attention since coming across World of Tanks in 20..11ish?  Can't really explain the draw for me, to be honest - it's a grindy sumbitch, and one needs to buy the DLC to fully get the other places to play (Survival and the Underground) but danged if it don't push my fun buttons at this point in time.

I can't speak for how it used to be in prior versions but with the 1.8 patch as it has now, I think it is pretty sweet: my current thirll is encountering Hunters in the Underground (think meeting a boss/tank/ninja who'll wreck you in one hit in cramped, dark quarters and you get an idea the gameplay there) and making gun-runs through the Dark Zone to just shoot crap up.

Continuing my Norsca campaign in Warhammer TW - almost at turn 200 but still have much to learn.  Beginning to align with my god of choice and have started recruiting some uber units like trolls and mammoths. Fun!

Also looking forward to the release of Kingdom Come (less than two weeks!), Vampyr (less than two months!) and just pre-ordered Thrones of Britannia from Green Man for 20% off, or about 30.00.

I hate both the Pats and the Eagles so I'll be watching curling in my ice shelter instead.
