Gary Grigsby's War in the West is on sale for $27 CAD! Might actually have to buy it... :o

I recommend the Torch DLC...  Great campaign, something you can actually finish in one sitting...

I got Deity Empires and am loving it.  It's like if Dominions and Master of Magic had a lovechild!  I'd be lying if I said that I'd mastered the brutal UI just yet, but the level of detail is extraordinary and the game mechanics are wonderfully clean.

I'm also planning to get Bomber Crew, but can't decide whether or not I want to pull the trigger on Strategic Command World at War: WW II or Slay the Spire.  Decisions, decisions...

I had bomber crew, and found that it was micromanagement hell..and not in a good way.

I have Deity Empires, and you're right..it's an excellent game. If I can recommend another excellent game, look at Stellar Tactics.

Let us know what you think of it. I picked it up on a GOG sale a while back and haven't had the time to give it a try yet.

How many hours of gameplay did you get out of it?

So, would you like to buy as many games on Steam as you like for a little under US$10? $9.74 to be precise?

Totally legal, simply broken -- for now, until Steam catches on and fixes it.

Ahem.

Step 1.) Buy Starbound ($9.74) -- unless of course you already have it, in which case you can buy as many games on Steam as you want for free.

Not kidding.

Step 2.) Subscribe to the Summer Sale Soda Mod (for Starbound obvs.)

Step 3.) Activate this mod in game. (I haven't done this, don't know how, but presumably it's easy.)

Step 4.) Mine 1 block of dirt. Practically the easiest thing to do in the game.

Step 5.) Convert 1 block of dirt into 500 sodas, thanks to the mod.

Step 6.) Click to drink all 500 sodas at once.

Step 7.) Automatically earn 5000 Grand Prix points thereby, 10 per can drunk. Equivalent to about five British pounds sterling in Steam cash.

Step 8.) Repeat steps 4 through 7 for as many blocks of dirt as exist in a game of Starbound. (Note: it's a procedurally generated infinite universe, so infinite blocks of dirt can be harvested this way for infinite steam cash.)

Step 9.) Convert GP points to vouchers for Steam cash. All the steam cash. All of it.

Step 10.) Buy everything on Steam you have ever wanted. Literally everything. Using your accrued Steam cash.

Step 11.) ...profit? (Unsure if buying as many games as you want on Steam for either almost nothing or for literally whatever you previously paid for Starbound, counts as "profit" technically.)

Thank to the Spiffing Brit for figuring this out.

Does the "Deluxe Edition" include one or more DLCs? (I know, I could go look.........:))

All the Homeworld: Kharak DLCs are on sale at GOG for like a buck fifty right now. I know what I'm doing when I get home.

Probably 8-10 hours. Its been awhile...All of it was enjoyable. As much as I loved the original Homeworld games, I never completed any of the campaigns. Deserts of Kharak, I plowed straight through. It was challenging at times, but reasonably so.
