First, I'm placing this in Current Events because I think it's a non-political discussion - the health of a politician. Debatable, I know, but let's try.

Recently Jesse Jackson Jr. went off the radar for an undisclosed health issue. A couple of weeks ago reports surfaced that he was being treated for depression.

Now a report surfaces that he has been diagnosed as being bipolar.

Doesn't surprise me considering that his father is a total retard...the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

And Daddy says that junior will not be giving up his seat in Congress. Well hell....I think most Dems are bipolar anyway, so maybe Daddy has a point.

That's been in the back of my mind.

Being hospitalized for a mental illness disqualifies him from gun ownership.

Yet he is still able to pass laws governing the fate of our nation.

Hmmm.

More troubling - what do you think the odds of his reelection are? I'd bet a dollar he gets voted back into office despite the problem.

No doubt about it. He's got an "automatic" seat. Hell, take the bipolar condition, mix with a touch of trying to buy a Senate seat, and you still have reelection by a wide margin.

Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.

I have mixed thoughts on the issue. On the one hand, it should be up to the voters to determine who is fit and who is not.  OTOH...well, it's self-evident.

Yeah, the voters haven't actually favorably impressed me with their choices lately.
Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.

I'm guessing this criminal probe about using campaign funds to decorate his house and his bi-polar diagnosis are related.

It is not as if being nuts is a "dem" thing.
If you took out all the crooks, wingnuts and perverts congress
could meet in a phone booth.  At least they represent the electorate.
