Ok guys, come on now.  It's past midday here in GMT -5 and no Friday thread yet?

I will be playing something Graviteamish this weekend as well as trying to conquer the world as the Soviets and Chinese in my Civilization III Cold War mod.  Mwhahahahahah!

I just find it difficult sometimes to get into what I'm playing during times like these. And it's been 'times like these' for two years and counting! Anyway...Call of Duty - Black Ops - Cold War (almost done with the short campaign, it's well done), maybe some World in Conflict and definitely some Metro: Exodus.

Lots of Elden Ring, probably some Insurgency and Ready or Not as well.  Maybe some Crusader Kings III.
I was waiting for a mission, and for my sins, they gave me one.

New computer being delivered tomorrow so my weekend will be mostly data transfer and downloading and setup.  Trying right now to figure out how I'm going to fit this 32" curved monitor on my computer desk.  Such a problem to have.

I'll be playing, "Trimming Hedges Total War" tomorrow followed by a First Person Raking sim and then liquor consumption to recover afterward. Have a great weekend Grogs.  :notworthy:
"Take a look at that". Sgt. Wilkerson-- CMBN. His last words after spotting a German tank on the other side of a hedgerow.

STAR CITIZEN - Jumptown event
Steel Division 2\WARNO WARNO so far is not impressing me. Tanks driving through forests too fast seems to be the MO for the AI. Missiles slowly taking armour hitpoints from tanks and aircraft is wierd to me as well. If the penetrate it should be a roll for crit as well as taking hitpoints from the internals. That's the way SD2 did it.
Nebulous Fleet Command I have to fess up and say I have not had time to dive too deeply into this. I have finished the tutorials and that's basically it. I just want more meaningful maps. It's either no asteroids or a whole fish tank full. I cannot wait to see if this is improved for multiplayer.

I keep getting roped into Gates of Hell. But I hate it because I cannot see far enough to see what is shooting at me half the time. The AI can see three screens across but fog of war\recon and physical screen width limits prevent a human from doing the same. So used to Steel Divisions 2's nice zoom to the clouds feature.

Debating on a few things-

Endless Space 2 trying to get a hang of it. I might do one last run in Distant Worlds Universe before the release of DW2.

Field of Glory II or Medieval or even Pike and Shot.

Well it's an Alienware Aurora R12 with 11th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-11400F (12MB cache, 6 cores, 12 threads, 2.60 GHz to 4.40 GHz Turbo)
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER 4GB GDDR6
Hard drive: 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD
Memory: 16GB DDR4 XMP at 2933MHz
Monitor: Dell 32 Curved Gaming Monitor - S3222HG,31.5", FHD, FreeSync Premium, 165Hz, 1ms (MPRT)

I don't do FPS type games and figured this would work for what I could do.  Saved about $675 on it all during the President's Day sale

Haha!

Thankfully there is still a lot of snow on the ground where I live thus preventing me from playing those types of games.
