As far as my gaming: I'm finishing up a AAR for CMO, and trying to get smart on WARPLAN for a tournament.  And BoC work.  Maybe some STARFIELD, as I have only played it for about 2 minutes, so I need to find out what the buzz is about.

Baldur's Gate III for me with a dash of Age of Empires II.

The same, minus the dash of Age Of Empires.

ACWC3C [American Civil War C3C] scenario for Civilization 3: Conquests.  I might try to post a video or screen shot.  Found the scenario online and have done some modifications of my own to it for my pleasure.

The scenario is in some aspects far superior to AGEOD's ACW 2, but I tend to have nothing but dark force mixed with chaos daemon hatred for any game AGEOD.

Dammit Carl!

I'm on the "sniper," train with Nazi Zombies 4 and the one where I shoot people in WW2 Italy (and I must say, I do dig the revamp of the engine they were using with these titles previously), so protect ya nuts, Fritz, as I'm aimin' low.

On the personal side, we've moved my 80+ year old Aunt in with us and lo, our time as "empty nesters," lasted about two years at best.  Sigh.  Oh, well.  The adjustment is going...okay-ish, but when things get heated, I pop on Pluto TV, turn it to the "Jeopardy!," channel and the dulcet tones of Alex Trebek calms her down right quick.  It's weird.

Been on a bit of a WARNO kick with a few friends of late. Against very hard AI which gets more points to spend as well as more units in it's decks we have been having a grand time basically playing tower defence.

Finished my first and only dune campaign and doubt I will go back. Great game and great flavour, but horrible battles even though they are real time. Great game, just does not have the pay off for me and too much whack a mole. Most whack a mole games are designed on purpose that way to keep you working. In reality you can never solve the problem yourself because of those mechanical constraints the game puts on you and this really irks me. Grinds my gears.

A little sins2 dabbling as well. The Vasari are around the corner and still really looking forward to that.

Company of heroes 3 as well.

I just realised that perhaps this thread would be better titled "the week that was and plans 4 tha weekend".

How many hours did it take you to get that Dune victory?

About 6hrs over a 4 week period I would estimate.

Gus I played the medium sized campaign. Their is a short, long and medium campaign.
The medium one has six factions to choose from for the medium game and only 4 for the large campaign.

Battle for Arrakis is the medium one
Conquest is the large one. The large one has the new house. I wonder if the new house will by put into the movie later this year? I am not a Dune fanatic but have read the original book DUNE. So I am not sure what the purists are on about when they reject house Ecaz. As far as I know it was probably mentioned in the original books somewhere.
