Razbam? For you DCS bubbas, wouldn't this be an interesting turn of events?

Man alive, that would be too awesome if they made a new Strike Eagle game.

Hmmm, a full flightsim is a big project. Of course I would really like to have another military option in the market.

Interesting, but ain't their plate already full, overflowing?  Lots of games in their pipeline, but apparently its clogged.  :headscratch:

I guess they would be a publisher for another entity that does the development of an engine.

There is the Aerofly simulator that somebody made out of thin air. So it is not undoable.

What would really shake up the mil flight sim world is when microsoft decides to delve back into the frey.  They already have an all world map, just need some AI and things that go boom. Serioulsy, DCS should prey this never happens.  Smart move would be DCS sells out to microsoft.

Destraex

I would prefer the eagle in dcs finished first. I hope this does not mean the dcs eagle project is completely dead now.

I'll caveat this by saying that, currently, I do not play DCS.

With that said, there is a part of me that kind of misses the flight sim "game" model.  Instead of a modular sim like DCS, something that from the ground up is self-contained.  WOFF is like that.  I suppose the IL-2 series is like that.  So I'd really enjoy something modern like a Strike Eagle 4.  I'm not sure that that's what this leak shows, but it would be a welcome addition to the market.

There's zero evidence in that video. I wouldn't accord it any weight. Also, modern Microprose plus Razbam are probably the two entities that I'd put together if I wanted to guarantee a lack of execution.

You've got a point.

I remember playing Strike Eagle III cooperative front seat / back seat about 30 years ago with my son. We set it up so that we were sat one behind the other, with him as pilot and me behind him as navigator. He was about 5 years old so would be great to recreate that now with a new version :)

I do think the 1990s were a golden age for computer games. Much better graphics now of course, but just something about the games in that period.

Redwolf

I should really play that 1990s helicopter game that was re-released just a few weeks ago.
