Thought I would start a thread for us noobs to share our works in progress
But I have also found another aspect of our hobby - how to photograph your minis. I am now researching light setups, non reflective backdrops, light diffusers etc.  Seems there is no end to finding more ways to spend money.
This model still looks way better in person than I can capture it on the camera but still better than my earlier attempts.

(In fact I am pretty disappointed how it photographed vs how it looks - the highlights are a lot cleaner and transitions not as harsh in the shading's - bit depressing looking at it this way really)

Do you have a light box?

Or maybe try taking the pics with no background or not as close - that should soften the focus

Just started gluing together some farm animals to act as loot in my Viking Pillage game.  These models are from Warlord Games and, tbh, they're shit-tier quality.

I've had to do a lot of filling in gaps with putty.  Pissex me off.  When I squeezed the tube to get some putty out, the whole top blew off and sprayed putty everywhere.  It's been that kind of week.
