Saw this a while back, but was not sure about it. Looks good. It will be interesting to see what gameplay looks like.

Well. In the last day or so a bunch of new gameplay and a new trailer have been released. I am very interested because it is coop (puts helmet on and prepares to be boarded).
However it does not look very historical at least on the surface of it, but that might just be the result of campaign armour upgrades and such making it look strange. It will also not have directional combat. It sounds more like you will be making console style "button" moves. However since this is a game where you command armies I might give it a pass.
I did want voor de kroon but even though it looks amazing historically, it's single player.

It seems their have been over 100 devs on this game including some industry veterans. People are guessing where the funding might have come from for this seemingly lavishly funded project. A private investor who wanted this game seems to be at play. Like the way Naval Action started.
