More ways to spend money on this hobby

Ok so I ended up pulling the trigger on this totally luxury buy - it might get me in trouble with the wife for multiple reasons
We have a 4 season vacation home in the mountains and prob spend on avg 2 weekends a month there over the year (more in the summer and fall/ski seasons)
It's too small for any dedicated hobby room and the office/spare bedroom is almost always in use for me working remote etc
So I can't do any painting while I am there because space constraints and the logistics of transporting unfinished minis and paints/supplies
Until that is when I found this-

Just ordered one (they come from Latvia) so now I can keep a project up here ready to go in the evenings or on those rainy days.  Of course this will cut into spouse time like making her spicy margarita drinks and generally working on any and all tasks she magically can find for me when she sees me sitting down.

I just spend way too much on the new AK Interactive 3rd Gen Quick Paints only to discover that I....hate them.

I am too used to using Army Painter Speed paints.  They're very thin and kinda runny so it's hard to control the flow at first, but I'm used to it now so I find painting with them fairly simple.  The AK stuff is thick!  Even more so than a lot of of the Citadel Contrast stuff (which I also dislike using).  I find it is hard to control and move around in such a way that you get consistent coverage.  It dries unevenly, especially on smooth surfaces, and I think it looks like crap.  Oh well...
