Yeah. Saw a few videos on the take down. Apparently they are countering the claim, saying they have done nothing wrong.
I was not that interested in this particular game anyway.

I must say I liked UG ACW. If it ends up very similar I might give it a go. Ultimate General was a good game.

I heard on the grapevine that some of the dev's were from the UG team, but don't know if that's true beyond a rumour. Does anyone have a better idea about it?

I had kinda hoped that was the case. Because Ultimate General American Revolution was SUCH a good game and was cut down in it's prime by being cut loose by their publisher. Have always wanted a Napoleonic version of UG.
I imagine if I had a masterpiece project total war rival with all the trimmings rug pulled when it just needed a little more polish, it would be hard to let go of it. I'd want to do a broken arrow style WARNO rival.
I just hope they do not run into anymore trouble with the art style being too similar.

I think Grand Tactician Napoleon is gonna be the must have game on the horizon for Napolean era fans, looks epic and innovative what they are doing with it.

The troops look too tall, the general scale is strange and the formations a little strange also.
Grand Tactician Napoleonic is what I am looking forward to for napoleonics.
