It's out in Yurp now.  This guy put up some initial gameplay vids.  I dunno.  It's doesn't help that he hasn't mastered the controls/targeting/HUD yet.

Maybe when it's on sale.

According to Gamersgate the game has been delayed to the 12th of December.

One of those last second - 5 pointless delays for games already finished that has become the new "fad" lately for publishers.

^Eh...saw a gameplay video and it looked like a total arcade click-fest.  No thanks.

I love how he boosts his engines, then flies straight in to a huge asteroid. Dude, you can fly AROUND things.

Yuk - I quite like the looks of this game, however, knowing my ability and lack of spacial awareness...there but for the grace of God go I.

I'm getting the movie from Netflix.

I've always wanted to see the movie, namely because it seems so over-the-top. The game however, it gives me a Freespace feeling, but doesn't look as polished.

Arctic Blast

The movie was fun. The game...I was stunned to see that it's actually a full priced title. I was expecting schlocky budget ware.

Apparently there's a board game as well. http://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/109077/iron-sky-the-board-game

40$ is still not a full priced game.
Especially when games sell for 70$ for a mere digital edition these days :P

for something based on a joke IP to begin with, I'd call $40 full priced. Seriously, did ANYONE think this game would be anything other than $20 max shovel ware?!

As long as people are paying 40$ for the game, then  it is worth 40$, regardless of how good the game actually is.
If they thought they could sell it for 400$ and get away with it, they probably would've done it too :P

Bismarck

Thus speaks a true economist: something is worth what someone will pay. The game might not be worth $40 for Arctic Blast but may be for somebody else
