Heard a blurb on the TV that Egypt is trying to waive them off. Fat luck with that, Egypt. I don't think their Muslim Brotherhood-led government has much pull with Israel these days.

and reports are that they are expecting a 7 week war.
Cast Lead lasted about 3 weeks.  it would seem Israel isnt playing around.

So my boss and I were having a bit of a hypothetical discussion today at work about this whole conflict.

With the reports that a few rockets hit near Jerusalem he was wondering what would happen if The Dome of the Rock was accidentally hit by Hamas.  Besides the sweet, sweet irony, this would not end well.  The best I could figure is that everyone would blame it on Israel and then it would really hit the fan then.  It would not only inflame the locals but give other Muslim nations all the reason they needed to act.

I don't know...I don't see other Muslim nations jumping in so fast. We've seen that happen before and Israel kicked a lot of ass.
