I presume so, if you run out of antibiotics.  I haven't had a game last long enough to get to that point.

That was great TGB!  Very entertaining read.  SoM you were a proper pain in the arse!

I can't wait to get this game.  Until then, may I be in the next AAR please? :D

PanzersEast

Looks like this one will be in the upcoming Indifort "Liftoff" bundle @ GG.... at least that is what I deduce from the image.

So, what is the actual player interaction with the game, tgb? Do you make the general choices for what people do and then sort of see how it unfolds?

Yes, it is.  That's what I mentioned earlier because I saw a larger advertisement for this spate of Indiefort deals that mentioned you can buy each pack for something like $4 and then get 25% off the later ones every time you do so on the previous.

I already have most of the ones I want in those deals, other than Zafehouse, so I'll probably just wait & pick that one up ( and donate a little to whatever charity they taking extra for).

I didn't realize this has some kind of multiplayer.  :o

It doesn't.

undercovergeek - Killing an infected character can have a devastating impact on the morale and cohesion of the rest of the group and really send you into a downward spiral.

Damn!  :(

Wouldn't that be really cool, though, if individual people could make their own decisions for each character?  ;D  I suppose they would have to artificially limit the decisions since the theme of the thing is attempting to get the characters to work together, and that would be to easy in a co-op situation.  Still...  :)

Pretty much.  You choose actions from a menu for each character, then advance the clock one hour.  You read the results of your choices in the diary.

Arctic Blast

Sounds interesting. I think I'll have to check out the demo.

CptHowdy

will get this once it's a little cheaper. i tried the demo but two days gametime and most features disabled didnt satisfy me! hopefully they or some modders come out with more of a sandbox mode. forget the rescue by chopper, let me clear out the town and make it my own!

I agree with that wish for clearing a town.

The little bit of the demo that I tried though, I liked it better than World of the Living Dead.
'Here at NASA we all pee the same color.'  Al Harrison from the movie Hidden Figures.

LongBlade

I'm a bit disappointed for two reasons.

First, my life expectancy is pretty short. That's a net minus.

Second, there doesn't seem to be a career choice for a paranoid wargamer who is part of the vast right wing conspiracy. Seems like a glaring omission. Also a net minus.
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

I'm guessing that means there is already a Neo-Socialist Priest of the Green Church available as a career choice, then?   :P

;D
