Fun has everything to do with it. But as to what fun is, that is clearly up to the person playing a game to determine for himself or herself. And there is a difference between being a wargamer and a grognard.  ;)

Im interested to see how they fit in a Russian bias with this game they way they have with WoT.

One thing occurs to me...
The devs will probably never add the USS Portmanteau since it would unbalance the game and pwn all Yamatos, Iowas, Bismarcks and even Montanas...

I'm hoping someone spots one of those limited beta key giveaways and posts here about it, in time.   

I think I got my World Of Warplanes beta key from MMO.com or some other big site that has regular promos.  I'd imagine they'll do it again, just like they did with WOT and WoWP.

..But what would you guys think about one of these modern match-based games that would contain all three - Air forces, land forces, and naval?  And, no, I'm not talking about the old WW2Online/Battlegrounds.   That would be cool, right?  *wink wink nod nod*

Off Topic, great pictures but, thanks for putting (Pic Heavy) in the comments.. In the old days, you had to worry about people connecting with dial up modems... Nowadays you have people who have limited data plans.. so thanks for being considerate.. Was better to wait till I was home and on a higher res monitor anyways!
