Well I conquered by first shard tonight.

Here is a view of the astral map.  I have 5 more shards to conquer before I win the game.

In Eador if they ask you if you want to throw a rock in a calm pool of water, your answer should ALWAYS be no.  If you foolishly say yes, this is what crawls out of the pool.


This is what a horde of fiends looks like advancing on your helpless level 2 ranger heroe's pathetic army.

I'd lose this shard a short while later.

It's pretty well thought out and fun to play.

You mean 2013?

The Beta has been pushed back to next week for more polishing.  I would expect it before March, but no one knows for sure.

Use the scroll icon at bottom of page.  There is an option for hexes stat bars.

Well I did kill one before they destroyed me.

I started with a Mage-type hero, and picked up some Necromancy.   Groovy.

Sure saves some upkeep costs when you can just replace dead pitchfork armed peasants with skeletons that don't eat.  :D

Yeah my first hero was a Mage Necromancer, which was pretty sweet.  On the second shard I tried the ranger hero.   They are great at exploring but really lack at leading your armies at low levels.   I'm using a Commander on my latest shard.  He seems to be pretty good but I'm hoping to find some necromancy scrolls for the raise a unit spell.
