The patch DOES seem to fix the music garble, mouse cursor, and stuttering issue.

Thank you very much, PE!
Regardless of how good a PC game may be it will always have its detractors and no matter how bad a PC game may be it will always have its fans.

Thanks for the heads up on the patch!

What version does the game now say with the new patch?  I downloaded it, and ran it, and it told me it was updated, but the version that displays seems to be the same (1.05.1).

Is there any documentation as to what was in the patch?  Or just a file that's put out there?  I know, we get what we pay for, but I'm grooving on the gameplay here!   :D

Huw the Poo

Yeah mine does the same thing.  The only info I could find about the patch is on the GOG forum.

Yep, looks like it was a corrupt save, or at least I hope that's all it was.  I've got further into it than I did before, at least.  Not had much time to play thus far, but I've loved what I have seen of it.

Good find!  Thanks, Huw.

Is anyone able to run this under Windows 7 in fullscreen mode?

I run it in fullscreen but with black bars down the sides, which I suspect is not what you mean.

Bison

Yeah.  Whether or not it's playable is another question all together.

It's playable alright - at least it is for me (for now).  I suspect bbmike may be referring to full screen with a proper resolution though.

Bison

I haven't had issues with full screen resolution.  I get no black bars.  Maybe gpu settings?  I do have issues on my desktop even with the patch.

bbmike

Yes, full screen resolution. When I change the setting to Fullscreen in Eador.cfg I can see the game menu (in full screen!) but the game is unplayable. It probably is a GPU problem. It does work fine in Windowed mode though so I can't complain too much.  :P
