I've seen this before, but I don't think I cross-posted it previously.

Biggest balls ever.

"If you had a chance, right now, to go back in time and stop Hitler, wouldn't you do it?  I mean, I personally wouldn't stop him because I think he's awesome." - Eric Cartman

"Does a watch list mean you are being watched or is it a come on to Toonces?" - Biggs

TheCommandTent

Im not afraid to admit it.  I couldn't do it, no matter how much you paid me.   :-X
"No wants, no needs, we weren't meant for that, none of us.  Man stagnates if he has no ambition, no desire to be more than he is."

Toonces

Oh, I have trouble even thinking about doing it.  Actually doing it never even occurred to me.

Steelgrave

That was freaky. I had to make myself watch the last of it  :P

Arctic Blast

GAH!  :o Yeah, I can't even imagine actually doing that.

Mr. Bigglesworth

It seems like a stupid design to me. Things that would make that safer are not expensive.

The problem is that whoever came up with changes would have to climb up there to put them in place.  ;D

GDS_Starfury

the job doesnt bug me that much, nor the height.
the perspective of that video being shot with a helmet cam while that climber looks up and down all the time give me vertigo.
Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

Same here.  I got clammy just from watching that!  :o

Staggerwing

Pretty impressive!

The narrator said you could see 55 miles from the top. Shouldn't it be more like several hundred miles?

Yeah man.  I'd like to think that I could do it for $1 million, but I don't think that I could.  Not even $10 million.  Maybe if I spent a year or two training how to overcome my own instincts, but if someone came up to me tomorrow and said "40, tax-free 10 mill if you climb to the top of that tower."  Well, there is just no way!  I wouldn't even make it half way.  I can even climb all the stairs in the fricken Statue of Liberty!!
Any time is a good time for pie.

^I might consider it if I could be tethered to the tower the entire way and wear a parachute.  But those guys were free climbing and only tied to the tower when they took a break during climbing!  :o

I might try it under those conditions as well, for a million + dollars.  I'd also need to wear gloves, as my hands would be too sweaty to get a good grip.  And I'd need to have a sunny (hmmm, maybe cloudy would be better), calm, temperate day.

I'd want a chute too. I don't think I'd mind being the height, but being up on that antenna, totally exposed, with just those little handholds to grab onto - no thanks. Even if by some miracle I made it up, I think I'd lose it on the climb back down.

I'd take up a few mg of atavan, or something like that for the trip back.  Mind you, if the deal was that I get the million for the trip up, and it didn't require a trip down, then I'd dial 911 at the top and try to get plucked-off by a helo rescue crew.  I'd pay for the ride out of my earnings.
