I saw Sengoku for $8 and picked that up.  I'm probably going to get all of the DLC for CK2 that I don't already have, once I can figure out what I own and what I don't...

Edit:  Alright, I believe enough is enough.  Following the bouncing Steam ball I found Real Warfare 2: Northern Crusades on sale for $12, or the whole 1C War Game Collection for $25 that included the entire Real Warfare series as well as a couple of Men of War titles which I don't have.  So I ended up with the collection.

Now, I believe I have both enough computer games and board games to last me a full year or more at least...I'm still working through titles from two Xmas's ago!  So no more Steam.  Really, it's enough already.

Sengoku is a great, underrated title.  Probably the most accessible of Paradox's internally-developed games and the one that most lends itself to shorter sessions.  It's refreshing not to have to manufacture a cassus belli every time you want to break some heads. :)

any signs of XCOM being cut in price anywhere?

...and on sale at Gamersgate for $24.98 for another ~16 hours

Greenmangaming has XCOM: Enemy Unknown (PC Digital Download) on sale for $24.99 - $7.49 voucher code GMG30-DPLIM-DN831 = $17.50

Just added Hearts of Iron 3 Their Finest Hour ($4.99) and Star Ruler (3.79) to my haul...

Steve, let us know how you get on with Star Ruler.  It's a curious game and I always mean to play it, but I keep running away when I'm confronted by the sheer vastness of the gameworld!

Well, I have spent $30 this Christmas.... about 10 more than I wanted, but there are 2 games I am looking at - The Last Express and Conquest of the New World from GOG.  Any feedback on them would be helpful on my decision....

I've got about 6 DLCs for CKII (Russian songs, units, faces...African units, etc), Skyrim: Hearthfire and Lord of the Rings: War in the North queued up to buy.

Grim.Reaper I saw your post on the controller issue for LOTR...what do you think of the game otherwise? And of course if any of the rest of you lot have it...do you like it?

Gus...I have War in the North for the Xbox 360 so take that as you will, but for what it's worth I was disappointed.  It's an extremely standard hack 'n' slash, nothing more.  Coming from Snowblind I was expecting greatness but it's remarkable only in how incredibly average it is; it does nothing particularly well but has no glaring faults either.  If you must have a LOTR game, buy it when it's very cheap.

^And out of my shopping cart it goes, thanks Huw! Just saved me 10.00. I really want a LOTR game...preferably a strategy game. I have Third Age: Total War loaded and ready to go...are there any War of the Ring games out there that are better than Third Age?

I got a gift card for Christmas that is burning a hole in my steam wallet.  Trying to resist and waiting for something awesome to catch my eye, but I might just hold out for a new release in the future.  Holy crap that reminds me the new Bioshock and Tomb Raider are due out next year.  I need to check on that stat!

^Bioshock Infinite looks er...infinitely awesome...getting that day one.

If I can't get the controller fixed I won't play it...but I only paid $4:)

^Do you have any of the older Lord of the Ring RTS games?

If you are looking for LoTR fighting instead of something like the Mod for Shadow Magic, you can give this one a try.  I played it a while back and was fun.  There have been several updates and I am behind on it.
