Gentles all,

As a result of some very odd and drawn-out tech support circumstances, I recently find myself in possession of a pdf copy of the Pathfinder Core rules.  Having once been an avid RPG'er, I of course have been given them a read through.  Overall, I have to say I am very impressed with the rules and have even downloaded a free module.

Is any one on-board familar with the rules?  How do they play?  There are couple of things that seem slightly more complicated than AD&D, and there are some "non-restrictions" that I am not completely comfortable with (Half-Orc magic users seem to be "permitted" in Pathfinder...can such things be?).  On the other hand, I find the idea of things like "feats" to be quite compelling.

Anyone have any comments?  Just for academic purposes only....
