I've had this one in for a month or so.  It certainly adds some depth, and a number of the NPCs are really quite interesting to talk with.  I recommend also installing the Realistic Room Rental mod which adds a lot of variety to inns.  Cures the cities and towns from all seeming more or less the  same.

I installed in the middle of a game and didn't have any issues.
