Do the european leagues have amateur drafts at all?

I'm just not familiar with futbol, but I do know that the yearly drafts in american sports are one of the most fun facets in these sports sims.  So much so that I couldn't bring myself to play one without it.  ???

They have their own youth academies and there's an enormous market of free transfers made up of players released from their contract, those who didn't sign a contract, free agents and kids.... The big clubs annually dump their undesirables for the lower leagues to fight over
