the French better be blowing stuff up!
its a shame to send men of to war wearing short shorts with matching vests!

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

in other news the RAF is providing logististic air transport for French ground troops.

The French have my moral support in this. Mali, Somalia, start eradicating extremist Islamists.

As for why France has become active, maybe its a distraction from the Euro financial situation?
I suspect Longdan has the right of it, in that France probably has more of an interventionist mentality when it comes to their former colonies and the surrounding area.

if those really are ear protectors then this guy has some high ass ears to contend with?

LongBlade

Star is really good at this.

The guy on the tarmac is offering to squeegie his windshield for five bucks.

The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

The pilot has so much cran that he flies wit'out 'elmet.

The pilot must double as a swami, either he is going to levitate out of the cockpit, or he is going to walk down Mr. Short's back.

Meanwhile, back in Mali:

The shitty paint job that you could fix?
The tiny blue eye on the recon pod?
The Gus Hairstyle of the pilot?
The large band around the vertical stabilizer to settle a vibration problem?

His hair looks fabulous. I also get the vibe that the French are just itchy for some Gallic muscle flexing. Maybe they forgot what Algeria was like. Either way it is nice to see another country besides the US step up in the anti jihad effort.

And where is his 'back-seater'? Surely that's a 2-man aircraft.

Longdan

It is a French aircraft.  There is a hooker in a rear facing seat in front
and below the pilot right where it says "Sauvetage"  which is an old
French Air Force joke on "Succour" as in "Succour de pilotes"
