I wish Nathan Fillion were a little younger. He'd be perfect.

There were some pretty horrible novels back in the day about Han and Chewie before the rebellion.
I hope nothing like those abominations are allowed to come to pass.  They were cutesy, supposedly
"funny" and just bad.  There we find out Han's nickname when he was in the Corellian Navy was...
wait for it......"Slick".   [thud]    Because he was slick I guess.  Aaaaaggghhh!  The taste of it still....

This news pleases me.  Perhaps he'll be divorced from Carrie Fisher and shacked-up with Isla Fisher.

I wonder if he'll be some aging war hero politician, or if he continues to be an adventuring renegade.

Ha, this is kind of neat. Nathan Filion is a huge Star Wars fan, and he had a model of Han frozen in carbonite that he brought to the Firefly set. It ended up apparently making an appearance in the background of every single episode. A few of them are shown here.
