For those whom may be interested in knowing, the RoleMaster Ruleset for Fantasy Grounds II VTT recently received a much needed graphical facelift (in addition to a recent Fantasy Grounds II engine upgrade).

Below you wil see some of the visual difference, mainly color scheme and imagery between the older and newest versions.

This first image is the original Rolemaster Ruleset in FG II color scheme. Kinda of a blah, goldish etched looking imagery on black background. Very little color in this one and things seems to blend in together. Really hard on the eyes for those of us that are getting older.

The second one is the new and improved Rolemaster Ruleset in FG II interface. Note: There are many more windows opened up here that are also available the older version but you can see on the far right the new colored images and how they contrast against the images in the older version, also on the far right.

Looks like some good improvements.  Does Fantasy Grounds support voice chat or is it just text chat unless you use an outside service?

No, no voice chat. Most use Skype but some people on the Fantasy Grounds forums set up a Teamspeak server that they basically allow anyone using FG to use when needed. I actually found Skype the best voice medium for my needs and its usually good if you have another user initiate the Skype chat. That way your machine doesn't have to deal with the extra resources to run that and FGII too.

There are a few that do only text chat (I prefer that method myself) since it allows better opportunity for in-character chat in that you don't have to do corny accepts and such.   ;D That and it leaves a log file to print and go back over after the session to track what happened and who did/got what. Another issue with the voice chat is the background noise from people eating and drinking and kids/spouses screaming in the background.
