Don't know whether any folks here have seen this before, I stumbled upon it, whilst searching out more information on The Battle of Stalingrad. It's a WWII strategic game played online. At the moment it's current still in development, but it looks interesting from the screenshots. They seem fairly open to requests for playtesters.

Here's an AAR of the game

Nefaro

Needs moar special black SS units.

Onward supermen!  ::)

Sir Slash

Looks great. Nice find spelk. Thanks for the post. It's got my naturally compulsive nature started-up.
"Take a look at that". Sgt. Wilkerson-- CMBN. His last words after spotting a German tank on the other side of a hedgerow.

DicedT

Looks a bit like Schwerpunkt's games, doesn't it?

spelk

Not enough numbers on the top row to be Schwerpunkt ;)

It looks great, but I find brigade/division scale daunting for strategic scale WWII. Having to move hundreds of counters a turn really turns me off, despite how nice it looks like it might be. You are basically making huge stacks anyway, why not use corps? I think Gary Grigsby hit the right scale with Second Front and War in Russia.

Zulu1966

Wow - looks brilliant. Maybe it will be released before Matrix monster WiF ?
"you are the rule maker, the dictator, the mini- Stalin, Mao, Hitler, the emperor, generalissimo, the MAN. You may talk the talk and appear to be quite easy going to foster popularity, but to the MAN I say F*CK YOU." And Steve G is F******g rude ? Just another day on the BF forum ... one demented idiots reaction to BF disagreeing about the thickness of the armour on a Tiger II turret mantlet.

I tried playing it awhile a go with a friend that somehow got 'alpha' style access.  it is a good game but if OCS overwhelms you then this will drive you CRAZY because theres so much to manage all the time and you just cant really keep an eye on everything before you lose track of really important stuff and suddently your getting kicked in the ass by something you should of seen coming 5 turns ago
