I can't be sure, but the game feels like it's got a movie plot. I can't imagine they'd give away the movie's plot in a game, but so far I'm finding some fun little twists in the plot. Good stuff.

I'm liking the game. The worst thing about it is the clunky console mapping. If they'd take just a bit of time to make it more of a PC UI I'd have nothing to complain about.

How is the combat?  What does it compare to?  Gears of War? Ghost Recon Future Soldier? Is there a cover mechanic?  Also, can you play with an xbox game controller?  If so, does it help alleviate the feeling of "clunkiness?"

Like I've got waaaaaaaaaaaayyyy too many new games for the upcoming weekend.
Star Trek FPS, Dead Island Riptide, Mars War Logs, Monaco, Neverwinter MMO, and these are just the new ones rather than the ones I'm still thinking of actually finishing :P

Of your list I have only played Gears of War, and that very briefly.

Yes, there is a cover mechanic.

I haven't plugged in a controller. I don't like them. Don't even know where mine are ATM :)

The clunkiness could probably be fixed with some key remapping.

For instance, in one part I was navigating a photon torpedo........but the mapping was backward. W wend down and S went up. Also, the game isn't exactly great at telling you thinks like that. You just have to figure it out. E sometimes means press and hold the E key. But if it's slightly pulsing it means mash it a bunch of times. Took me a few tries to figure that out. Frankly, I don't see the challenge of mashing a key over and over. Either let me in, or challenge me a different way. Repeatedly mashing a key just seems...juvenile.
