"On closer inspection it seems to be some kind of portal to other times, places and dimensions.

"I would have investigated further but I was concerned my little dog would be sucked into it.

"Is this meant to be there?...."

Finally some good news is started to be reported in the world.

LongBlade

Thankfully it's just that. I was worried they'd found Hogwarts. Can you imagine the mischief the muggles would cause if they got on the campus grounds?
All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.

Can you imagine if the vortex was in Blackpool??!!  :o
Any time is a good time for pie.

temporal vortexs in England and you think of Hogwarts....  :o

Jarhead - Yeah. You're probably right.

Gus - I use sweatpants with flannel shorts to soak up my crotch sweat.

Banzai Cat - There is no "partial credit" in grammar. Like anal sex. It's either in, or it's not.

Mirth - We learned long ago that they key isn't to outrun Star, it's to outrun Gus.

Martok - I don't know if it's possible to have an "anti-boner"...but I now have one.

Gus - Celery is vile and has no reason to exist. Like underwear on Star.

Dr. Who was too obvious.

Well Dr. Who was my first thoughts too.  However when I think of Dr. Who I default to this image of him.

Years ago, I recall a story coming out of England about the discovery of a species of giant spiders in Wales, spiders that were supposedly the size of sheep, and another story about a British scientist who had created a hand laser weapon that ran on "D" batteries. Both stories made the newspapers here for a day and were never heard of again. I think this is an example of British humor pointed in our direction   8)

Or part of the massive cover up that Mulder and Scully were trying to expose.

One of the reasons I haven't been able to get into the new Dr. Who.

David Tennant and Matt Smith.

I know them. I was trying to be funny. Clearly I failed.  :(
