Well, a nice quiet Sunday afternoon of rare game time has been replaced by
"Take my daughter and son to the neighbor kid's birthday party while the wife picks up an extra shift at work"

I may check out the "get them dinner, a bath and in bed by myself" DLC

I'm having a bitch of a time finding a game to grab my attention. 

I think I'm going to try Skyrim, but no promises I'll be able to stick with it for long.

I think I want to play CK2, but I have to start a new character and that's too much pressure for a Saturday beer night.

You should just give in and play Warlock, Toonces.  Keep building your own cities and taking others.  It's as hard as you want to make it.

So far, this weekend has proved to be an utter failure when it comes to PC gaming. Nice weather and evening board games have ruled the roost thus far.  ;D

All being well, I will be playing some Fallen Enchantress, Dominions 3 and hopefully getting a bit of Endless Space multiplayer in with Geek.

For once this is turning out exactly as planned.  I'm sending back my Dom3 turns as they come in, I'm a few years into my first FE:LE game, and Friday and Saturday night have seen two fantastic sessions of Endless Space with Geek!  Last night was epic...we played from just after 22:00 through to...I think it was around 01:30 when we stopped!  We're learning the game together, trading useful resources and homing in on the AI areas.  It's going to be a bloodbath. :D

If you secure all of the objectives in the 'Kids' Dinner, Bath, &Bed' module go for the bonus objectives of 'clean kitchen and bath'. Who know, you may unlock the next round of DLC to play later tonight...  ;)

Ended up working most of the day Saturday then went to my Son's Lacrosse game after.. What gaming time I got in, I did World of Tanks.. did a 24 hours Premium run.. though didn't get a lot of time on it!

Good luck with that one.  From what I've read on the online forums, this particular DLC is very very difficult. 

You may even end up quitting the level in frustration.  My suggestion is don't quit though.  Use a hack like I did.  What you do is crawl into corner after you "blow up balloons" but make sure you've equipped your character with "good book" (something like World War Z should do) and then stay silent while you read.  The "10 screaming kids" may not notice you and you will survive the level.
