OK. Here's my take. A great film nearly the equal of the first Avengers. Typical Joss Whedon flick with lots of action, humor, great effects, a little sad in places with the high point being the Ironman vs Hulk scrap. Better than Guardians of the Galaxy and all the Ironmans. There is a post credit scene but only after the initial credits go by. I didn't stay all the way to the ending credits so cannot speak for a second scene. If there's a threat to these films it will be too many characters on screen. The first movie had 6 Avengers and the bad guy. This one has the original 6, plus 3 new Avengers and the bad guy. Plus a whole slew of camiyos from other films thrown in. But there's more tension between characters and at times your not real sure who's right and who's wrong. If you've seen the trailers like me, then you know Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are in the movie but there's another surprise hero who show's up totally unexpectedly. And for a teaser, the new hero can actually wield Thor's hammer. :o And one character dies but you won't hear who from me. Well worth the price of admission and worthy of the mountain of money it will make. My 2 cents.

Sorry about the missed spelled "Cameo" in my earlier post. I forgot to Spell Check myself. Yeah, you can probably figure-out the additional hero but it was a surprise to me, just about everybody else in the Marvel movies had already appeared. Still it's been a long time since I was at a movie and people actually cheered when a superhero showed up and smacked the pooh out of the bad guy. My Marvel-Newbie Son-in-Law loved it. He's hooked. Favorite line: Tony Stark's working on a broken tractor and Nick Fury says to him, "TRY not to make this one come to life".

I went and saw Age of Ultron tonight.  My take is almost identical to Sir Slash's. 

Overall, I enjoyed it as much as the first Avengers film.  It's one of those rare sequels that's equal to (or better than) the original.  Definitely recommended!

Just watched it with my kiddos. Epic. Better than I was planning on based on some of the reviews. On par with the first. I hesitate to say the second was better only because the first was so damned good too.

Everything you could want in a comic book movie.

For me, this was like Iron Man 2 compared to Iron Man. I was totally expecting the hero who was a surprise to Sir S, as this is the Age of Ultron, after all.

I enjoyed it, just not as much as I enjoyed the first one.
