Distant World: Shadows.  Incredible immersion when starting as a pre-warp civ....which is also great for learning the mechanics if you are new to the game because you are dealing with only your starting solar system.

How's everyone digging Fallen Enchantress: Legendary Heroes?

I'm chomping at the bit to buy this game but if it is just a superhero running around the map killing and conquering I'm not interested.  Can you command legions of troops (similar to Heroes of Might and Magic) and send them out to battle?

Certainly not a superhero who will single handedly dominate the map.  You have to form up armies to win battles and conquer your enemies.

• the new 0.20 version of Kerbal Space Program
• ...and maybe a little Shogun 2
