Fallen Enchantress Legendary Heroes - state of the game?

Hi,

I got an email from Stardock that this was released. I was one of the suckers who bought the first game from them - Elemental I think was the title. I see that they've weeded that shameful name from the title of the game now through successive releases.

So, my question is, if I hated Elemental, might I like this new release? What's the state of this game? I'd be interested in all mini-reviews, comments, etc.

Why did you hate Elemental?  FE is the same game, just enormously better polished and with lots of refinements and new features.

I also got burned by the first game after buying when it was released.  Since then I haven't played any of the other free games they have given to us suckers.  However, after seeing what people around he said about FE:LH I downloaded my free copy on STEAM and have really been enjoying it.  I think I can finally say I got my money's worth out of the game ... how many years later? :)
