The Flow

I got introduced to this term from someone and I have to say its quite accurate both in my wargaming and a number of other activities I indulge in.  what say you?

I do that when I'm writing, and know what the hell I'm writing about.

But yeah, I can identify with this in just about anything. I used to piss off my coworkers because I could be so immersed in what I was doing that I wouldn't hear them talking to me.

it was a pretty significant component of my dissertation research and I've be discussing it since around 2005 or so...  :)

I get into a flow every now and then but I wish it would happen more...really makes me feel alive and happy.

I totally become lost in the flow at times when I do a task, whether work related or during my leisure time.  And woe to anyone who disturbs my flow for I become very very grumpy when that happens.   8)

It's not uncommon for me to get into this state when I'm reading, gaming, and (on occasion) writing.  Wish I could do it more often.
