X360 Controller for the PC

What games would this be good with? Not a strategy game, I guess.

I would be inclined to get the wired version instead of wireless. Getting tired of changing batteries.

I use a wireless one I picked up at best buy. Most recently I used it to play far cry 3 and before that batman.

I also use a wireless controller for my PC. I use it almost exclusively for third-person action games or arcade shooters.

Yes. I use the wired one on the rare game. Stuff like Mark of the Ninja when I'm in a very rare mood.

I've debated setting it up for some of the lighter flight sim stuff, like Strike Fighters 2 series, on my laptop. Or maybe something like Evochron: Mercenary? Dunno how well that wold work, though.

I use the wireless version on my pc for Final Fantasy: A Realm Reborn, Trackmania and Rogue Legacy. Its a good piece of hardware.

I've used both for the MLB 2K games. I seem to have more luck with the wired on working though.

Yep, just picked up a wired 360 pad, plugged it in, good to go. I use it for action games, particularly third person ones.

Geez.. I couldn't get more than 1 minute or two into the dungeon on Rogue Legacy. That thing is brutal, and the controls feel a bit sluggish to me. Maybe because I just haven't really played any platformers since I was a kid, but the other one I have (Mark of the Ninja) is just fine when it comes to responsiveness.
