I think I'm going to take a quick look at Path of Exile.

I've got my trigger finger on picking up Batman Origins this weekend but I've really spent a lot of money this week on games.  First priority this weekend for me will be punching counters out of their sheets and playing my first scenario in Conflict of Heroes:  Awakening the Bear 2nd edition rules.  This game looks good and it is the first board wargame I've purchased since I was 20 years old!!!  I'm totally psyched.  True wargaming for the w8tster.  Welcome back welcome back welcome baaaack...

I also recently went on a boardgame shopping spree, after another video game burnout.  Quite refreshing.   There is soooo many new ones out there since the last tabletop wargames I purchased somewhere in the mid-90s.  :o

Many haven't shown up yet, but I have a few to start on.  :D

I keep meaning to crack open my DVG Leader games!

Maybe I will make Sunday a DVG Leader game bonanza  ;D

probably not going to have much time, heading to the pumpkin patch tomorrow as is our tradition. When i do get time Flashpoint Campaigns for sure then maybe some sniper elite and Sid Meirs Railroads for a break.

FSX for sure.  I, too, am quite addicted to it lately.

And, I scored a player's copy of my grail game: Magic Realm at the FLGS today.  It's very used, so there are no excuses for not getting it on the table!

I'm also very strongly considering Steel Beasts finally.

I wanted to pick up U-Boat Leader but it's out of stock at the moment.   Didn't you get that last year?


S'ok - TAL has been fun and I just got some other solitaire-capable wargames.

Continue into Bioshock Infinite, which has been enjoyable so far.

And since my takings in the latest Canadian Math Trade on BGG have already started coming in, I may get some new board games out as well. Regardless of that, more Pathfinder Card Game goodness needs playing.

S'ok - TAL has been fun and I just got some other solitaire-capable wargames.

I did - sold it on fleabay. It was ok...but not my bag. A bit slow and a bit limited. I like the plethora of weapons and platforms in the other Leader games

Just finished Dracula : The Resurrection so might go on to Dracula : The Last Sanctuary or have a go at Fallen Enchantress : Legendary Heroes and I'll probably do a bit more of my Federation Bounty Hunter campaign in Smugglers V

World of Tanks for sure and I have an itch to try out Grand Theft Auto 4 on my PS3. Gaming has been taking a backseat lately to reading military SF and checking out the night skies with my new telescope but I am sure priorities will change as the colder weather sets in.

How are those Dracula games?

The Resurrection is the only one I've played so far (and I had originally played it a number of years ago when it first came out for the PS1), graphics are OK, not up to todays standards but atmospheric with some nice little cut scenes (the one with the Count's "Brides" comes to mind  ;) ), the gameplay is classic point and click adventure fare and there were no horribly illogical puzzles to solve, some needed a fair bit of thought or searching around for a particular item but there were never any of the irritating random combination of items to solve a puzzle types.

I got the trilogy at half price on GOG last weekend which would have been a fair enough price for just the first part and the current full price of $9.99 for three adventures still looks like good value.

Apparently from reviews part 2 is as good as part 1 and part 3 is the best of the bunch so from my initial experiences if you like classic point and click adventures and like the classic Dracula theme the trilogy should be fun.
