It looks like one of the Alan Quartermain style adventure movies.  The guy that Ken is speaking of looks a lot like the guy who played Marty McFly's dad.

It's like freaking Murphy's War or Murphy's Revenge or Murphy's Redneck Posse Goes to Vietnam to Save a Buddy.  I've seen this movie.  The group gets together and decides to go save a buddy who is captured and still in Vietnam.  They somehow get from Murphy's basement drunk to Vietnam and take on the who country to save their buddy.

On the plus side Brant, I don't think any other movie posted here has generated as much group effort to figure out. Good job driving us crazy.  :)
