Naw, they're Aussies or Kiwis.  The only Aussie 'Nam movie I could think of is The Odd Angry Shot.

Oh. The terrain in the background does look a bit lumpy for most of Vietnam (although I know there are exceptions). It could be New Zealand filling in for SE Asia.
