I think I've seen this one. 'The Car' and I think it had Dennis Weaver in it maybe.

You may be thinking about 'Duel', Spielberg's first movie.

You're right, I mixed up the two. Weaver was in the 'Duel' but that had a truck. The pic above is 'The Car'.

OMFGs! I wasn't actually looking for Pigs on the Wing! I was just being snarky because I recognized the Battersee Power Station outlines.
I should have looked closer before posting. If that's intentional it's a classic movie easter egg. I still don't know the film though.

The Merlin clue referes not just to the Spitfires and Hurricanes but also the the Post-war Spanish Bf-109 derivatives which also used Merlin engines and were used for filming due to the lack of period Bf 109 post war survivors.

NOW, it is my firm belief, that NOT ONE of you could possibly get this in the first pic. So I will go ahead and give you another pic to chew on.

And to make it even more easy, I will accept any reasonably close approximation of the title. As with many grade uhhhh... lets say B horror flicks, they usually go thru several incarnations in title. I first saw this in the early 80's named in a particular fashion. I most recently scoured netfix and got this named similarly, but I have also researched this fine piece of movie making and seen it listed with several different names and it has been sold in numerous collection dvd's and sets. I guessing its in the public domain now.
