This guy is not that far away from where I live.  In the summer time while mowing my lawn I'll see him fly a B-17 or the TBF-Avenger over my yard.  According to the website you can book a 30 minute flight with him on a B-17 for a little over $400.  It will be interesting to see what he does with these tanks.

Yes I have.  The Higgins Armory Museum.  Unfortunately they are closing it down.   :(

Great collection of medieval armor from Europe, the Middle East, and Japan.  They also give lectures on occasion on warfare during the period.  The one I went to though was centered around the life of a Roman soldier.  The two guys that gave that lecture were dressed in full Roman battle gear and they provided demos on melee combat during the Roman Empire.  Great stuff!

I understand where you're coming from.  If it makes you feel better when I was a kid one of my coolest and favorite article of clothing was a corduroy New York Yankees jacket.   :)
