There is no end to the little Brush Wars that can be done with the game. The only restraint is time.

Are there 'Technicals' and 'irregulars' available for editing scenarios? Is any other Nato kit besides what would have been in the German Central plains available in the editor?

Staggerwing, there are jeeps and trucks with machine guns and all you need to do to get irregulars is drop the training value and morale in the editor. Plus you could always add in your own data too in the USER files or make your own file.

Since the basics for all the armies concerned for the British, US, Soviet and West Germans are there from 1979 through 1989 you can recreate a lot of conflicts from around the world. They can be infantry oriented, with maps you create, in areas you are interested in. Not to mention that in 2014 there will be more nations added to the content we already have. If you don't see something  you want that we've done the game can be modded to add pretty much whatever you like.

If I only had to pick one I would have to choose Flashpoint Campaigns: Red Storm but there is some bias in there cause, its what "I like best".   8) Looking over the games that have come out in 2013 I have to say it was a very good year for us wargamers, no matter your personal preferences. That includes board and PC gaming.
