The only thing that annoy me about the print cycle is when companies make new expansions that require a previous base game or expansion to play, which are no made available by them.

Agreed, very annoying.  Also limits the sales of their expansions.  So why do they do they do it?

Agreed. Unless they're simply between print runs and new copies are coming, having one thing that needs something else you can't find is annoying.
