I gave her a card, took her out to eat, and then gave her a dozen roses. She gave me a card and a gift. I feel okay with that and so does she so I have no complaints.

After being together for 44 years, and married for 39, we don't bother too much with the Valentines stuff. The fact that we're still together and happy must prove something.
