Leave it to college students to get this party started right.  An annual pre-St. Patty's Day party at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, got out of hand to such a degree that riot police were called in and seventy three people arrested.

Don't forget that the Jewish celebration of Purim is coming up on 15th March. You don't have to be a Catholic to celebrate St Patricks, and so from the look of it, is another fun celebration! It's sometimes seen as a celebration against anti-semitism, so here is a chance to show solidarity, and have fun with your Jewish neighbours! :) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Purim
