The Welsh needed some respect you know? It was kind of awesome seeing 2/3 the map of the UK a briny green under Welsh rule. But satisfying.

Well it's more than I've ever done.  Even in the original MTW Viking Invasion campaign, I never have won playing as the Welsh.  (Indeed, the only Celtic faction I've beat that campaign with has been as the Irish.)

This campaign was not a tough one, I won it in under 100 turns. The only easier one that I recall is the Crusades campaign which I won in about 25 turns as the Egyptians.
