Thanks Kushan. Did you enjoy the whole riding around on a dragon thing or were you disappointed? Just curious, I am going to get DB either way, the moment it gets discounted :)

Nice screenshots Kushan.  I'm just now starting to work my way through the Dawnguard dlc and will do Dragonborn next.  In spite of its flaws (and to me the biggest is the melee combat...the enemies dance and flit around with faster-than-light speed so I play a stealth/archer character) Skyrim remains the game I have enjoyed the most over the past few years.

Have you thought about downloading Skyrim Redone or ASIS (automatic spells and increased spawns). Both over improved enemy fighting AI. Skyrim redone is a full overhaul of the whole game, but you can use the combat plugin on its own if you don't want the full thing. ASIS is very customizable as well, it makes the enemy AI better as well as give them health, stamina, and magicka potions, as well as new perks based on level.

ASIS: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18436

Sorry if i seems to always pointing out mods in these threads, but there really is a mod for almost everything you can possibly want.

Yea I liked it. A lot of people seem to be disappointed you can't directly fly dragons, but I think the system they have now works better then how the implemented horse combat.  Not having to fly the dragon allows both it and you to attack at the same time, and allows you to focus solely on aiming (if you don't want the dragon to do all the work). And since your not flying the dragon, the aim camera moves independently of where the dragon is flying, which actually makes it possible to hit your target.

Funny you mention the horse mounted combat...I was quietly disappointed by how it was done too.

I am as well. I hope Bethesda takes the concept of locking targets and applies it to horse combat, at least with a bow. Melee horse combat works fine. But anything is better then constantly having to dismount every 10 steps as you run into a different group of mobs.

^Yeah it is really clunky, and I was so looking forward to it being like Mount and Blade.

And so it begins...that didn't take long at all!   ;D

OK, it seems to be working fine for me ATM. So does going to High Hrothgar kick off the DLC then?

If you haven't advanced to that part of the main quest, then you have to complete the main quest up to completing the trip to High Hrothgar.  The DLC will kick in at the appropriate point once you head back down the mountain.

If you're not higher level you're not going to get very far in Dragonborn, though.

I would suggest not doing it until you have at least 3 dragon souls. Your going to need at least that many to complete the main DB quest.

I've got 130 hours into the game and have completed the main quest. Can't figure it out. Maybe a bug?

Crap. Still no luck. I can't get the cultists to trigger even though I've completed the Jurgen Windcaller quest.

Well, I went to the top of High Hrothgar, completed that little part of the main quest, then walked back down to the bottom, did fast travel to some town, and the Dragonborn quest started when I came out of fast travel and started walking into the city.

I can't explain your problem.

You could google, "Dragonborn quest won't start!" and see what happens.

Now I'm thinking!

Turns out a file isn't loaded properly via Steam. Not sure what to do about that yet, but I'll figure something out.

In the mean time, I'm posting an image of some of the enchanted bow's I've created :)
