You never know 'til you try. 'Penny farthing' doesn't sound as awesome as I want it to. That kind of bike needs a new name.

Or Call of Duty in Hardcore mode.  Most people don't even realize there is a hardcore mode where all it takes to kill an opponent is 1-2 shots, tops.  It is an absolutely lethal mode that I suspect a lot of people would prefer to play if they knew about it.  Once I tried it, I rarely returned to the standard "run and gun" mode of play.

It's all I play - objective based hard core. Just ask a few guys around here  8)

Anything multiplayer - ANYTHING
Anything frenetic
Anything tactical
Anything operational
Anything strategic
Anything quest based
Anything simulation related (flying, driving, armour as examples)
Anything space related
Anything empire building related
Anything game related

I can tick quite a few of those boxes myself.

On the plus side, not being particularly good does mean that you can side step a perennial complaint about games, bad AI. It doesn't matter how bad the AI of a game is as long as you are worse than it  :)

Nope - no rugby sims. I did play a demo game quite a few years ago - but the play didn't really match the likes of Madden NFL games from a control pov (that translates to I sucked at it!). I would LOVE a rugby management sim - but I'd probably suck at it!

I'd make a team of nothing but 1970s era props.  We  cement handed knuckle dragging scrum pushers have to stick together.

From what I've seen, all you play is Orcs Must Die! 2. :P

Indeed.  Which is why when I say a game has bad AI, you *know* it's bad.  :P

For me, it's "Toy Soldiers". The idea, the setting, the atmosphere, the love for detail is really cool - these tiny little WWI soldiers, cavalry, planes fighting inside a diorama... but I'm really awful at this game.

The single player did work until the first flying mission - I suck at steering these planes, so this chapter was the game breaker for me. But what's even worse is the multiplayer - I tried my best to send my British troops against Grimnirsson's Germans, but I didn't win even 1 game... we played all maps... I lost every single one of them and I have no idea why I suck at this game. I simply do. We repeated this some time later because it is one of his favorite games, but again... 0 wins for me. I simply cannot play this game  :o

Besides this, I'm awful at all games related to RTS combined with building Empires / bases. I simply hate it when my people begin to cry: "we need more metal / food / wood / whatever". I wanted to like Age of Empires, but in the end, I gave it away, it made me nervous  8) The only RTS which works for me is Dawn of War II because there isn't any complex base building element.

Do you mean Toy Soldiers? I did suck at that game too in the beginning but with a little practice improved. You can also scale back the difficulty level if you want.

Yep, I meant Toy Soldiers, of course  :P (corrected my above post, thank you)

Btw, Toy Commander was a quite cool game on Sega Dreamcast, I wish they would make a similar game on a new console one day, we had lots of fun with it then.

The difficulty scaling in Toy Soldiers would certainly help with the SP campaign, I'm afraid but there's no hope for me regarding the MP against a human opponent... :P

That's because you were always crying!

Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd edition pen and paper after they changed armor class and introduced THACO.

Flight Sims - Ten years ago went cold turkey.  Would buy them just to read the manuals.. Too complex to grok.
