Just clearing some Spell dead weight.  A quick aside here, I don't use Spells except to cause direct damge, provide a benefit that does not have upkeep each turn and that's pretty much it.  Once my Mana stream is assured, I will start piling the Spells on high level units, but, until then, there are Spell research cycles sometimes that are just to get to the next Spell.

Thank you for the encouragement gentlemen.  I want to put the Bookworm down, but, he's stayed allied almost from the beginning.  As I have to defeat an Avatar, I will need experienced troops.  The best way to get them is to war it up.  Cities under my control are less likely to slip my control. 

However, I'm not sure how to make the deity upset enough to come after me.  I suspect there will be multiple Temples built on multiple Holy Sites.  So, I am going to have to conquer a large area.  I may even have to get into the Underworlds.  His Silly Hattedness provides someone to draw other Mages attention and may inadvertently do some good.  So, the Librarian stays as long as he doesn't make any noise.  If he does, then I squash him like a grape.
