I agree, though it wasn't until I started recalling what fights seemed the most interesting that I found that they had all been in ARMA 1.

On the other hand, ARMA 2 was fun in multiplayer.  For me, ARMA3 has an ARMA1 feel.  Maybe its the huge radar domes and the extravagant landscape of Stratis.

I still play ARMA I, however do not play ARMA II anymore (never was a DayZ person).  I agree that ARMA I had really good fights and I still have not played all the created missions, and there are a lot of good ones in there.  I felt the editor in I was easy to use and fun as well.  And add to the fact that I can crank up ARMA I with no problems and ARMA II I have to run on a lower setting....  ARMA I can be epic when you create gigantic forces smashing into one another.

And add this as a + as well :-P

^ I know this is pretty shallow of me - and don't get me wrong, I thought ArmA1 was a great game - but I'd rather let a rat gnaw at my eyes than look at a game that was visually that bad  ;)

I haven't played ARMA 1 in years, but in my mind's eye, I recall it as visually perfect.  I'm sure I'd be a bit shocked if I went and looked at it again.

Another problem is that I may be confusing the very late original Opflash mods with very early arma 1 things.  I'm not quite sure what mod I was in when I tossed a gamon bomb at a STGIII and the resulting explosion hurled the STGIII several hundred meters into the air and far far out to sea.  Ah, those were the days.  But when were they?  And what mod was that and in what game?

Well, I'm speaking from history so you know that could change once I fire it up again..... recently I have wanted more gameplay out of what I play then anything else.  I have chunked many a fps, so much so that I have really stopped playing them all together.
