You are quite the expansionist MD.  Do you find that you need to expand alot to stay in the game or is that just your way of playing?

Thanks to both of you fellows for your kind words and following along.  Constant expansion is a conscious decision on my part.  It fits all of the victory conditions.  Can you win a game by not expanding?  I don't believe so.  You can win one without entering the other worlds though.  As a matter of fact, I am coming to the conclusion that, unless your victory conditions call for something that can only be found in the other worlds, there really is no reason to have them in the game.  That doesn't mean I think they should be done away with, it just means you can win without them.

Trying to make my world a little smaller brings me into contact with a large force of monsters.  That Holy Site under the GFE is going to be useful though.
